The Rockton Lions club, with over 120 members is very busy all year long! Our events and services utilize thousands of hours each year in service.

Stateline Business Expo – Date and information to come.

Rose Day – Sold from February – March of every year. Contact your Rockton Lions for more information!

River Market Bounce House – During the Rockton River Market, the Lions proudly present a bouncy house for your littles entertainment! The Bounce House is donated by Brent’s Bouncin Inflatables and is $5 for unlimited bouncing! Proceeds benefit the Rockton Lions Clubs and your community.

Scholarships – The Rockton Lions Club now has three scholarships a year to award to area high school seniors. Our Rockton Lions Club Scholarship, Our Doctor Loomis Scholarship and our Jack Lovejoy Scholarship. Apply via the Community Foundation.

Old Settlers Days – June 13 -16, 2024. Our biggest fundraiser of the year and arguably the biggest event in Rockton every year. This fundraiser helps us fund our Lion Year of donations.

Jack Lovejoy Golf Outing – This memorial golf outing, usually held in September, is a fundraiser for the Jack Lovejoy Scholarship fund. The scholarships for this are given to students going into the trades. Help us keep his memory alive and raise funds to help local seniors attend vocational trade schools. #SpreadTheLovejoy

Candy Day – Every October you’ll find us in Rockton taking donations for Lions Candy. Our proceeds are split between the Lions of Illinois Foundation (who supplies our hearing and vision buses) and the Talcott Library.

Last Roar Car Show – This fun car show is typically in October and celebrates the end of the car show season. Last year was a banner year for us and we’re always looking for people to show off their car and to see these beauties before they go into storage.

Pancake Breakfast with Santa – To be held Saturday, December 6, 2024 at the American Legion in Rockton. Check out the Wimpy’s Auction Items! Special thanks to Boy Scout Troop #619 for their help bussing tables.

Wimpy’s Auction – The Wimpy’s Auction is held on the Saturday (December 6, 2024) of Christmas Walk weekend and features both silent and live auction items. The auction benefits Wimpy’s Fund which helps families in need during the holiday season.

Wimpy’s Delivery – Wimpy’s Deliver varies from year to year but is usually held the Saturday prior to Christmas in order to help families over the winter break. Funds are raised at the Wimpy’s Auction and by helping hands in our community like YOU! Donate HERE!

Eye Glass donations – See our mailbox at the entrance of the Talcott Library and donate your used eyeglasses for recycling. Locations are also available at First National Bank Macktown, Macktown Insurance.

Progressive 50/50. We had our inaugural progressive 50/50 in 2019, and we were able to pay out over $5000 to the winner. Due to Covid our 50/50 for 2020 has been cancelled.
