With proceeds from our fundraising efforts from Rose Day, Candy Day, Sight & Sound raffle, Pancake Breakfast, Christmas Auction & Old Settlers Days, etc. the Rockton Lions Club donated to the following organizations or projects in 2017-2019
In addition the Lion’s Club has also donated to many private individuals who’ve needed assistance with sight and sound related disabilities.
We also collect funds on behalf of Wimpy’s Fund and deliver presents and food baskets during the Christmas Holiday Season.
In the last 10 years, our fundraisers have also allowed us to make bulk donations of $10,000 to each the Rockton Food Pantry and St Vincent’s DePaul Food Pantry, $20,000 to the Rockton Athletic Fields, and $55,000 to the Center for Sight & Hearing and build a $30,000 picnic shelter at the Rockton Athletic Fields.
